SPRING 2011

Well I am certainly ready for it. Some of the trees and bushes are budding, hearing some
new tweets outside, and the wind is mild, not harsh and biting like it was in the winter.
Looking forward to spring flowers more than ever this year. Winter was hard on everyone.
Spring fever is just around the corner!
Preparing some more picture frames for Etsy, and have a healthy amount of other nice
items listed. Sold several purses that friend gave me, on Ebay. I in turn, bought some
much needed things and am going to try a new craft, needle punch. Every new craft
needs lots of expensive start up materials.... the most expensive in rug hooking and
needle punch is the frame. I learned the hard way, you must have a frame. I have had
tendonitis in my hand for at least 6-9 months because of the strain of rug-hooking without
a frame, but hey, i made $15 bucks selling my completed items on Ebay! worth it? NOT!
See? I'm learning if only the hard way.....
turn your clock ahead Saturday night!

December 2010

Well this year has certainly gone by fast, almost Christmas! I treated myself
to a new family member, she really needed a home, she's 8 years old, has cataracts
a bit deaf but is the sweetest little gal.

Who can give up something like this? Merry Christmas to me!

Where's Summer Gone

July 25. Hot outside, which it certainly should be. I've not checked to see if there are the usual buzzings of critters in the trees and grass yet this year, I know I missed the little frog peeper sounds in the Spring, mainly because we had a cold, cold Spring and it really JUST started feeling like summer only 4 weeks ago.
I have a peach tree. It has 7, no 6, peaches on it. Keith went out and pulled one of the peaches down yesterday. The tree's blossoms must have frozen, usually I have to prop the tree branches up, it's usually so laden with peaches. Oh and we have huge bushy tomato plants. NO tomatoes! strange, like I said! We're using the tomato plants as a green ornamental because they certainly aren't acting like tomato plants. Like I said, wierd season.
